We will keep a record your kilometers, which you can access at any time, so when next you make a replacement you can check the cost per kilometer of that product. Knowing whether you received good value for money is a key deciding factor when purchasing a product.


How to calculate your cost per kilometer? Divide the cost of your purchase by the kilometers achieved.

Example A.

A vehicle travels 60 000 Km before replacing 4 tyres.

  • If the total tyre cost is R12 000, the cost per tyre is R0.20 per Km
  • If the total tyre cost is R9 000, the cost per tyre is R0.15 per Km

Example B.

A vehicle travels 60 000 Km before replacing the battery.

  • If the battery cost is R2 500, the cost is R0.04 per Km
  • If the battery cost is R1 800, the cost is R0.03 per Km


Other factors such as safety, performance, reliability, service and availability also need to be taken into consideration when deciding which product to select for your vehicle. Each of us use a different set of criteria when measuring value for money but knowing your actual cost per kilometer is a good starting point.
